There are still a few places left on the following workshop -
SLIM - Special Librarians in the Midlands
BENCHMARKING FOR SURVIVAL?
The need to demonstrate value in a climate of constant change is demanding on any service. When that service is provided by a solo professional, or small team, this can seem an overwhelming task. The CILIP Benchmarking Network for Workplace Libraries began addressing this challenge during 2004 and is re-focussing its attention for the future.
This half-day workshop features 2 speakers who have both been closely involved in the Network -
a.. Linda Potter (Fennemores Solicitors)
b.. Lyndsay Rees-Jones (CILIP)
They will run an interactive session sharing experiences gained by Network members and encouraging discussion and reflection from participants.
This FREE event is co-supported by CILIP, The Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals, and Information Unlimited, the Midlands-based consultancy. It is open to all special librarians in the Midlands.
