**apologies for cross posting**
Dear LIS-LINK Members,
For my MA dissertation, I am investigating the use of specific Web 2.0 tools in
UK academic libraries to deliver subject-based information to users. Research
to date suggests a key role for subject/liaison librarians in filtering and
repackaging information using Web 2.0. This study will seek to identify the
extent to which Web 2.0 tools are being used; factors driving and impeding
implementation of Web 2.0 services and information regarding the training
needs of staff.
I would like to invite academic librarians to take part in my research by
answering an online questionnaire, which should take around 20 minutes to
complete. The information provided will remain confidential and the data
anonymised in the final report.
Your contribution to this project will help to address some of the gaps in the
current literature concerning the role of the academic librarian in delivering
value-added services. As a participant, you will also have access to a
summary of the research findings on completion of the dissertation.
The questionnaire can be accessed via the following link:

Thank you for your time
Kind regards
