I'm getting failures of the type:
edg-wl-interlogd[7233]: Failed to initialize input queue:
input_queue_attach: error binding socket: Permission denied
on a CE with SL3/LCG-2_3_1. The edguser exists and has a home area.
The command that causes the failure is in /etc/init.d/edg-wl-locallogger:
su "$EDG_WL_USER" -c "\"${EDG_WL_LOCATION}/sbin/edg-wl-interlogd\" -k
\"${X509_USER_PROXY}\" -c \"${X509_USER_PROXY}\" -C \"${X509_CERT_DIR}\"
-f /var/tmp/dg20logd_ -s \"${EDG_WL_TMP}/interlog20.sock\"" && success
"edg-wl-interlogd startup" || failure "edg-wl-interlogd startup"
EDG_WL_TMP=/var/edgwl
I note that my /var/edgwl/SandboxDir did not exist, as expected by the
LCG-2_3_1 upgrade instructions, and there is no file
/var/edgwl/interlog20.sock.
The following command which runs edg-wl-logd does seem to work though.
Thanks
Leslie
