ESRC CASE STUDENTSHIP - DEADLINE AUGUST 14
NEW TECHNOLOGIES, ELECTRONIC CONSUMPTION AND STUDENT PARTICIPATION IN
THE INFORMATION SOCIETY
A full time ESRC CASE research studentship beginning in September
1999 is available in the Department of Sociology at the University of
Surrey.
The studentship is in collaboration with Sage Publications Ltd. The
student would be jointly supervised by Dr Nina Wakeford and Professor
Nigel Fielding
The student should ideally possess skills in qualitative research and
internet use. The standard ESRC research student conditions apply,
but the studentship is enhanced by an additional allowance of 1625
pounds pa.
