Initial consult - document suicide risk assessment, start SSRI
Rv 2 weeks - Rx tolerated,? early response, again touch on suicidal thinking
Rv 2 weeks - Picking up, if not ?switch Rx
Rv 1 month - Still improving? ?Benefit from talking Rx e.g counselling/CBT
Rv 2 months - still OK?
Rv 2 months - Plan withdrawal/tailing
Chronic and recurrent depressions, or those inherited that have become
emotionally attached to SSRI Rx long term 6 monthly rv
