tectonics in the Early Precambrian
2. Geodynamics and relationships between granulite-gneiss and granite-
greenstone areas and belts
3. Collisional and accretionary orogens
4. Intraplate structures: rifts, sedimentary basins, oceanic plateaux and
islands
5. Global age boundaries of the Early Precambrian
6. Exhumation, reactivation and remobilization of the Early Precambrian
complexes
7. Phanerozoic continental crust formation as compared to origin of the
Early Precambrian deeply eroded complexes
8. Early Precambrian geodynamics and comparative planetology data
9. Geodynamic aspects of the Early Precambrian metallogeny
FIELD TRIPS
The schedule and logistical details of the field-trips will be set depending
on level of interest. Joining of the 1st and 2nd excursions is probable.
Preliminary costs include transportation, guide-book, meals and accommodation.

The Paleoproterozoic complexes in the southern Baltic (Fennoscandian) Shield,
nappes and thrust tectonics at the boundary between Svecofennian accretionary
orogen and Karelia craton, mantled domes and metamorphic zoning from epidote-
amphibolite to granulite facies.
Preliminary cost: $450 USA
