Hi julia,
As far as I know,There is a passage in the Bhagwadgita about, not thinking
if suicide as a way out but doing one's duty which one is honorbound to
do.But per se, the only way one could hurt their karma is but cutting short
their chances of atonement specially since the human form is recieved after
much difficulty. The human form is a result of good works in other lives
(non-human) and so it must be treated with care.Taking that life will add to
'bad' works besides one going in a lower form and starting all over again.
Does that answer your question?
Best wishes,
geeta

suicide, how does this affect one’s karma and rebirth?
