Hiya -
Could you have a careful look at the FAQ section on the web,
www.fmrib.ox.ac.uk/fslfaq
e.g. questions 19,20,21,22
and at the documentation
http://www.fmrib.ox.ac.uk/fsl/fdt/
(select the dtifit module)
you can also find a lot of information about this on the FSL list history
(search for bvecs)
If you are still having trouble, feel free to email your bvecs, bvals and
the output of bedpost_datacheck to the list.
Thanks very much
Tim

I can open and load all the image and DTI files into FSLView and have created the brain mask from the B0 file - I think these are ok, but suspect there is something wrong with my bvecs and bvals file. I did get the info needed from my local physicist, but we weren't sure about the units needed for the bvals file. With the help of the physicist I've put together the two files. All our values for both files are whole numbers. We've got 6 directions for the bvecs file (this file contains values of 0, 1, -1 so three rows of 7 columns) and two values for the bvals file (0 and 1000 s/mm2).
