POSTDOCTORAL Position Available in DTI
A full time post-doctoral position (18 months renewable) is available in the Resonance Magnetic Center for Biological System (RMSB), Bordeaux, France (http://www.rmsb.u-bordeaux2.fr/ and http://www.imf.u-bordeaux2.fr/). Salary is provided by an ANR grant (Agence Nationale de la Recherche).
The main goals of our project include the development and validation of high resolution and robust diffusion imaging pulse sequence to investigate the potentials of this approach as a non invasive biomarkers for neurodegenerative diseases. We have state-of-the-art facilities that include a whole body 3T Philips and small animal Bruker BioSpec 4.7T and 9.4T scanners. Successful applicant will interact with a multidisciplinary team of experienced MRI method scientists, engineers and biologists.
Successful applicant should have a PhD in physics, biomedical engineering or in related fields. The ideal candidate would have a background in MRI or NMR and particularly in DTI. Experience with pulse programming (Philips) is not mandatory, but would be of advantage. Skills in computer programming (Matlab or C++) would be a plus.
