Designs on eLearning Symposium

Rootstein Hopkins Space, at the London College of Fashion, London.
The symposium will be an innovative one day research-focussed event
exploring the evolving web-based technologies (blogging, podcasting and
other web representation) and the challenges and rewards of mobile
communication technologies for learning and teaching.
The Symposium is hosted by the ITRDU, University of the Arts, London in
association with the JISC Regional Support Centre for London. It will be
open to both attending delegates and online participants.
The day will consist of parallel discussions addressing two different
themes introduced through a brief overview by a Panel of visiting
speakers.
Participants attending online will be able to access face-to-face
discussions and contribute through synchronous conferencing; face-to-face
participants will be able to contribute to online discussions whenever
they wish. Communication technologies will be used extensively throughout
the symposium in order to provide multiple channels for discussion and
multiple means of recording and representation. The Symposium will be
webcast.
