Liz
I got your message, but there is a misunderstanding between others. I celebrate NeuroDiversity, but don't like the psychical symptoms we have discussed that goes with having autism.
It the environmental 'toxins', including psychiatric and other drugs are causing adverse side-effects and also 'we' are being poisoned by lead, mercury, copper etc and also there are many foods/drinks and chemicals and minerals which are causing autistic people to suffer physical and
psychological an impacting on 'us' at cognitive, perceptual and behavioural level, in which means then effects our learning and equality of opportunities.
We then experience discrimination and abuse and socially excluded from society at all levels.
If 'we' are suffering, then shouldn't 'we' through the 'social-model', then challenge for better environments ?
Liz, I don't like to see all children, adults and families suffer the physical and psychological pain and I don't like to suffer this pain. My 'gut' is inflamed due to inflammatory bowel disorder and I got recurring bronchitis, caused by my food/drink intolerances. Then you are saying I should live with this pain and suffering?
As you know Dr Death(Harold Shipman) and this idea that 'we' should kill old people, because in his 'mind' he thought by killing is elderly patients he was 'mercy-killing' and putting them out of their 'pain and suffering'. He thought that he was doing right and he had no ideas that his perception was morally and ethically wrong and no-doctors has the right to play 'God' with a persons life and this is eugenics.
Many doctors can't distinguish human rights from animal rights. I have problems with putting animals down when they are suffering and in pain. Animals have the right to live as well.
Liz, I hope you can reflect on what I'm trying to say? I don't want you to feel offended and I am not calling you Harold Shipman.
I know 'we' are both allies, but 'we' seem to be misunderstanding each others viewpoints at present and I don't know why ?
Take-Care
Luv
Colin
