I wonder if any one can help a friend of mine who is trying to compose a
helpful booklet for Dyspraxic Adults.
She is dyspraxic/ADHD and very passionate about her cause. Her difficulties
were not recognised until her mid forties.
She is trying to compose a chapter/section around career guidance and
support. Assessing strengths and weaknesses.
Bearing in mind that dyspraxic individuals do not form a homogenous group,
but do have certain common features what info can she access in her search?
Features include, poor organisational abilities, co-ordination, hand
writing. Often a low self esteem. Possibly problems with driving,
time-keeping, planning.
Complex, subtle, HIDDEN disabilities.
Any useful leads would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in anticipation.
