Submissions are now open for WIVACE 2018, the XIII Workshop on
Artificial Life and Evolutionary Computation, that will take place
from 10 to 12 September 2018 in Parma (Italy).

* Abstract/paper SUBMISSION DEADLINE: 14 July 2018 (EXTENDED, FINAL)
***By 7 July 2018***, all perspective authors should notify the
organizers of their intention to submit a contribution by sending the
title and up to three keywords by email at the address
[log in to unmask] or by making a provisional submission of title,
a few lines' abstract and keywords which can then be updated until the
final deadline.
All submissions must be made electronically through the online
submission system EasyChair

Contributions may be submitted in one of the following forms:
1. Full research papers (6 to 12 pages).
2. Simple Abstracts (1-4 pages).
Full research papers should present original unpublished works and
must be prepared in the format used for Springer Communications in
Computer and Information Science (CCIS) series.
Simple abstracts should describe work in progress or a summary of a
full paper (already published or submitted for publication).
Each submission will be reviewed by at least three TPC members and a
selection will be made on the basis of significance, clarity and
relevance for the track topics.
Full research papers will be considered for publication of extended
versions (up to 15 pages) in a post-conference proceedings volume
which will be published by Springer in their Communications in
Computer and Information Science (CCIS) series.
Full papers which have not been selected and abstracts will be
collected in a book and distributed at the conference.
Contributions solicited cover a variety of topics, including but not
limited to:
- Bioinformatics and computational biology
- Bioinspired Algorithms,
- Bioinspired Robotics,
- Complex Systems,
- Evolutionary Computation,
- Genetic Algorithms,
- Modeling and Simulation of Artificial and Biological Systems,
- Modeling and Simulation of Social and Economical Systems,
- Synthetic and Systems Biology,
- Systems Chemistry,
- Theories and Applications of Artificial Life.
