Hello,
There might be two problems here.
The first problem is that your ugent.be email address is nowhere to be
seen in the list of subscribers (only your private email address). So it
looks like it hasn't really set up this account. (I forget, does it send
out some kind of email where it then asks you go to some URL to confirm
you want to be registered before it is activated??) Can you log into the
Jiscmail webpage using the ugent.be email address? (Hopefully not given
that you are not on the list under that email address!)
The second, separate, problem, which I think is not the issue here, is
that when you register an email account, and when you then send an email
to Jiscmail, the address your email client says it is coming from has to
match the Jiscmail registered email account exactly. So when I first
registered I used my departmental account (bioc.cam.ac.uk) but my email
client was sending emails using a physical computer address instead
(mole.bio.cam.ac.uk) so I had to tell Jiscmail to use the latter instead.
