Dear Amy,
I'm a PhD candidate based in the Department of Archaeology, Bristol
University, researching the archaeology of the Atlantic slave trade and the
historic landscapes of West Indian sugar plantations (c.1650-1838).
I'm leaving for my first research trip in 2 days' time, and will be spending
6 weeks on St Kitts, Nevis, St Lucia and (if I get time) Barbados. I shall
post any recommendations to the list on my return in May.
Best wishes,
Dan Hicks
