Hello all,
When running WinBUGS with the GUI front-end, at times
we encounter a trap and have to adjust some parameters
in the trap window, and then we are able to continue to
run from the point where the trap occurred. This is very
convenient because the ongoing run is not lost.
How can traps be handled when running WinBUGS in batch
mode? Is there a way to adjust the parameters, without
having to restart the run (and therefore losing the
ongoing run)? Is there perhaps a way to dump out the
state space at regular intervals, so that some parameters
could be adjusted and the run restarted if a trap occurs?
I greatly appreciate any suggestions and help.
Thank you,
Shan-Ho Tsai
