Greetings,
I read an otherwise good piece on Martin Luther King by Dr Stephen Tuck in the New York Times. It made useful links to Britain. Except I noted two key errors. It's led me to initiate an ad hoc posting called Spot the errors.
I know historians are human, and therefore prone to err, just like anybody else. Nevertheless, sometimes one wonders whether these errors (including partial truths, aspersions, unfounded assertions and such like) are deliberate or not.
Anyway, if you're interested in Spot the errors... 1, best check out the story soonish, as I've brought it to the notice of author and editors, so an amended version may replace the original story, King Of All Nations, posted at: http://www.nytimes.com/2012/01/16/opinion/king-of-all-nations.html?ref=lawandlegislation.
Regards,
Kwaku
