Hi Ian,
I'd be rather concerned at trying to fund and publish yet another paper or
on-line journal or magazine. The AT area is already very fragmented, so
another information resource might add to the confusion. So far there's
FAST, Emptech, Axistive, DLF, Assistech, [log in to unmask] and
others, I'm sure.
There's also the "Assistive Technologies" magazine published in the UK, but
it does tend to focus on orthotics and prosthetics at the moment. I'm sure
they'd be interested in news articles about other areas though!
I also found the 'AT Journal', which is available online
(http://www.atnet.org/journal/index.htm), not to be confused with the
'Assistive Technology Journal'. There's a few interesting articles
available, although it does focus on the U.S.
So I'm not convinced there's a good reason for another resource? Maybe it
might be better to try and improve the co-ordination of what we've already
got?
Cheers,
Aidan.
