Project Manager
8 month fixed term post
30 or 37 hours a week
Grade 9 scp 29-31 (£23,548 - £25,106 pro rata)
The Volunteering for Shropshire’s Heritage project is a partnership project between Shropshire Archives and Shropshire Museums Service, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. Over 400 volunteers have worked on museum and archive collections to improve their accessibility, including a programme of conservation, cataloguing, research and publications. Volunteers are based in Shrewsbury and Ludlow.
This project manager will work with project partners to plan, deliver and manage the objectives of the project. You will be responsible for ensuring that all the project targets are met.
You will have a degree or equivalent qualification, and experience of managing projects including budgets and staff. A qualification in archive administration, librarianship, museum studies is desirable, but an enthusiasm for all aspects of community history and heritage, especially Shropshire's is essential, as are good IT skills.
