Assistant Archivist (two year post) at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine
The Archive service of this major international postgraduate medical school is seeking a professional Archivist to assist the Archivist & Records Manager in the operation and management of the archive and records management service. Key tasks will include cataloguing existing and new collections (using CALM), managing the archive search room, and participating in dissemination activities to promote the archive service. The post holder will also work on the implementation and promotion of the School’s institutional repository.
To apply you should be a qualified archivist with a good knowledge of international and national cataloguing standards. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work unsupervised are essential.
Salary will be on the Professional Support Grade 4 scale in the range £26,352–£29,996 inclusive, per annum, plus generous holiday allowance.
