Hi all,
I’d like to sound out people’s experiences of damp traps. I’m part of a team with custody over hundreds of different records, all stored in a single strong room. We take regular readings of both the room temperature and relative humidity of this room, but unfortunately it does get humid quite frequently, averaging 62%-65% on a regular basis. Due to being restrained by location, we also have to deal with an external wall/windows. Our team have been looking into ways of reducing the humidity and we wanted to gauge people’s experiences with different humidifiers and damp traps – can you provide any recommendations for humidifiers/damp traps/alternatives?
Thanks for you help!
Kind regards,
Jonathon Taylor
