Two posts, one full-time, one part-time (2 days per week) *
C2 £11,960 - £13,953 per annum
Fixed term for one year from August 2005
These posts support access to important research collections and offer
practical experience of archives work appropriate for graduates hoping
to apply for a postgraduate archives course. Duties include assisting
with search room supervision, fetching material for readers, answering
enquiries, shelving, listing and numbering of documents. A good general
education (minimum 2 A levels), an interest in history, and good IT
skills are required. A degree, and some knowledge of languages,
especially Latin, will be strong advantages.
