Dear list members,
I have already been in touch with Maria directly, but in case anybody else wondered about Scandinavian institutions, I am happy to announce that the National Museum of Denmark houses a rather excellent archaeobotanical laboratory with two permanent researchers (Peter Steen Henriksen and myself) as well as a number of student assistants. We always welcome queries on macrofossil analysis!
Thanks,
Mette Marie

Dear Patricia
Thank you for the information. Any institute with experience with Scandinavian plant remains will of course be relevant.
To all on the list: I have still not received any concrete names of persons or institutes. Please send me an e-mail if you have any suggestions.
Best regards,
Maria Sture

Dear Maria
If you cannot find a Scandinavian institute that would analyse the samples then there are some in the UK where the researchers have worked on material from Scandinavian countries.

Dear all,
We at NIKU in Norway would like to know what institutions in Scandinavia that currently have the capacity to handle approx. 100 macro samples to be analyzed. It seems there are none in Norway at the moment.
Best regards,
