Clinical Pharmacology / Early Clinical Development Biostatistics Specialist
Live and work in Switzerland and act as Statistical Consultant to one of the worlds leading research-led pharmaceutical organisations.This role is centred within the early phase clinical development business unit of our client and offer opportunities to specialise in this highly interesting area of Biostatistics. This is a 6-month rolling contract opportunity.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for all statistical tasks of the assigned Early Clinical Development (ECD) trials (including specification of analysis plans, statistical consultation during the running phase plus writing statistical sections of clinical study reports).
* Responsible for reporting and statistical analysis of safety, pharmacokinetic and PD data from individual studies
* Track clinical trial/allocated project activities and milestones.
* Subsequent timely delivery of high quality tables, listings, graphs and statistical analysis of clinical trials and project deliverables from analysis plan, including ad-hoc exploratory analyses
* Represent line function within clinical teams
* Ensure that documents and specifications are consistent and comply with company standards
Skills Required
* Demonstrated ability to lead statistical aspects of a clinical trial
* Good statistical skills and knowledge of clinical trials methodology: applied experience with analysis planning and reporting of early clinical trials, including statistical analysis.
* Strong knowledge of SAS, including SAS BASE, Macro, Report , familiarity with SAS Graph and ODS desired
* Good knowledge of ICH GCP issues as they affect reporting
* Fluent in English
* At least Masters Degree in Statistics (or equivalent degree) with 5 years of experience
We are looking for upwards of 2+ years demonstrable experience within Biostatistics, gained within a commercial or academic environment. Experience working on Early phase / Clinical Pharmacology studies is highly advantageous.
