The Department of Education and Professional Studies in the School of Social Science and Public Policy, wishes to appoint an individual to the established Chair in Science Education. King’s College London has a national and international reputation for its work in science education and this post is the UK’s most prestigious chair in this field. The Department is seeking to appoint somebody with international renown and applicants should have a strong research profile and the ability to contribute more generally to a Department with a strong research culture. The individual appointed will be required to supervise PhD students, teach on Masters courses and to lead the Science and Technology Education Group.
DEPS is an internationally recognised centre of excellence in teaching and research (see www.kcl.ac.uk/education) in which the appointee will have a major role in providing academic leadership.
