Dear Members
After long consideration I have come to the conclusion that I am unable to
carry out my responsibilities on the conference organising committee for the
ESA. I did not come to this decision easily and apologise to all. Amongst
other factors, I have just been elected as President Elect of the British
Society of Gerontology and our conferences are usually a week apart. Our
Autumn semester starts in early September, and will find it difficult to
justify missing another week of teaching so early in the semester. I am also
having to set some priorities with my work and family commitments.
With kind regards
Kate
