With the deadline rapidly approaching I am re-circulating this message in case
anyone missed it first time round. This is still time to apply!
SROC Conference Bursary - Southern Association of Collegiate Registrars &
Admissions Officers (SACRAO) 2004
The SROC Committee is pleased to announce the SROC Conference Bursary and
applications are invited from those who have attended the SROC annual
conference as delegates at some time during the past 3 years. The Bursary
will be to partially fund a delegate's attendance at SACRAO?s annual
conference in 2004.
SACRAO brings together Admissions and Student Records Officers from the 13
member states of the association in the USA and this will be its 57th annual
conference. Topics for discussion include, amongst other things,
implementation of student information systems, document and records
management, student portals, web-based facilities and student service. The
conference will be held in Fort Worth, Texas, between 7th and 11th February
2004 and the SROC bursary will pay delegate hotel accommodation and the
delegate conference fee.
The successful applicant will be required to obtain parent HEI management
support plus funding for travel, meals and incidental costs.
The successful applicant will also be required to submit a report to the SROC
Committee and to the parent institution within one month of the conference
completion.

Applications, on the attached form, are to be submitted to Kathy Williams,
Academic Registrar, University of Leicester by/on 1st October 2003. The
Committee will make the decision and notify the successful applicant by/on 1st
November 2003.
