Job description: Scientific services in research at the Einstein Center
Chronoi within the scope of the exploration project “Audible Temporality:
How time is structured in—and through—music” in the research area of
Cognitive and Systematic Musicology, with particular focus on cognitive
processes underlying the structuring of time in music, relevant theories of
musical rhythm and empirical studies on synchronization among ensemble
musicians, using modern reproductions and replicas of selected ancient
musical instruments



Requirements: Completed academic education in a subject relevant to the
project (Systematic Musicology, Cognitive Science or Psychology); verified
research interests in rhythm and synchronization; experience in the
collection and statistical evaluation of audio and video data; capacity and
willingness for interdisciplinary collaborations
