2.1 Blended Learning Essentials: Developing Digital Skills preview webinar, 12 April, 12.30 - 13.30

This webinar looks ahead at Developing Digital Skills, a free course on the FutureLearn platform designed to give teachers and trainers in the VET sector knowledge and confidence in teaching much-needed digital skills to their learners. https://go.alt.ac.uk/2GonFUE

2.2 Digital Apprenticeships community event, Portsmouth, 19 April 2018, 10.00 - 16.00

Jisc digital apprenticeships community event, focusing on degree apprenticeships. 2.3 Webinar: GDPR and Data Protection Compliance - How Moodle empowers institutions

The need to comply with GDPR is just around the corner. 2.4 New Sticky Campus Roadshow Events in Wales, Ireland, Scotland

The Sticky Campus Roadshow, in partnership with Jisc, will be hosted by Swansea University in April, Dublin Institute of Technology in May and the University of the West of Scotland in June. Book your place to experience wireless collaboration in a new active learning environment. Workshops are also being run for those with responsibility for DSA and Assistive Technologies. 2.5 MOOC - Visual Literacies: Exploring educational practice and technologies, starts 23 April 2018

Join us to explore visual literacies and how new technologies can be used to make education more visual, e.g. comics, holograms, infographics, virtual and augmented reality. 2.6 Learning from Digital Examinations, Brunel University, 26 April 2018

An increasing number of institutions in the UK and elsewhere are adopting digital assessment for coursework and exams.
