Request for info: Literature on Agency and Refugees/Forced Migrants
I am seeking any suggestions Forced Migration List Members might have for literature/references (academic or more policy orientated) on agency and refugees or other forced migrants.
I would welcome any suggestions, though I am particularly interested in how refugee decision-making is considered (or not!) by International Organizations (UNHCR, IOM etc).
I am interested in both theoretical and empirical work from any disciplines (sociology, anthropology, international relations etc.) that would help me better understand the choices refugees make in their lives (especially where they move to) and how these decisions are responded to by those charged with helping them.
Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly received: [log in to unmask]
Thanks in advance!
