of the Royal Statistical Society, for statisticians in the early stages of their

Z (pronounced `zed') is a formal specification notation based on set theory

order predicate logic. It has been developed initially since the late 1970s at

Programming Research Group within the Oxford University Computing Laboratory
(OUCL) and

(and hardware)
development process in Europe, USA and elsewhere. It has undergone international

#standardization in 2002.
ZOOARCH
Analysis of animal remains from archaeological sites
Zooarchaeology is the analysis of animal remains from archaeological
sites to reconstruct the cultural lifeways of people and the
interrelationships between people, animals, and the environment.
This list promotes the flow of ideas, skills, information, and
offers support to fellow zooarchaeologists. Zooarch is supported
by and works closely in association with the International Council
of Archaeozoology (ICAZ)
ZOOARCHISOTOPES
Zooarchaeology and Stable Isotope Analyses Working Group
The working group and list aim to address how stable isotope analysis can
be used to answer zooarchaeological questions, and foster discussion
across disciplines on this topic.
