By the rows that corresponds to the row of the contrast doesn't seem to give the same values as is used by SPM96 I assume you mean that the values in the rows of SPMt.mat of SPM96 are different from the values in the spmT_????.img of SPM99 for the same contrast. This would be related to my previous email: SPM now uses t images instead of Z images.
