Dear Colleague,
Invitation to the 3rd Seminar in Biostatistics and Epidemiology. Arranged by
the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health, Imperial College School of
Medicine.
This is the third in a series of seminars that have been arranged to explore
methodological issues in and links between biostatistics and epidemiology.
Starting in December, 1998 it is envisaged that these seminars will be held
once monthly.
DATE AND VENUE: Thursday 18th February, 1999 at 2.00p.m in the Roderic Hill
Building, 4th Floor (Centre for Process, Systems Engineering) Imperial

Department of Economics, Brigham Young University, Utah, USA
PROGRAMME:

2.30 p.m. Lecture "Health Effects of PM Air Pollution:
Epidemiological Evidence and Controversy".
3.30 p.m. Break
4.00 p.m. Lecture "The Adoption of Statistical Methods in Recent
Air Pollution Epidemiology".
After the seminar (around 5 p.m.), cheese and wine will be served.
