POSTGRADUATE RESEARCH SCHOLARSHIPS IN WOMEN'S HEALTH Two research scholarships are available to support full-time PhD students in the Research Institute for Gender and Health, commencing in Semester 1, 1999. The scholarships will provide (tax-free) funding at the rate of $20,822 per annum for three years. The Research Institute for Gender and Health houses the Australian Longitudinal Study on Women's Health. One scholarship will support a student from any relevant disciplinary background to work in one area of the national longitudinal study (which involves researchers from health, statistics, psychology, nutrition, sociology, nursing, medicine, etc.). The other scholarship will support a student to work in the area of iron balance and tiredness - a background in nutrition or a related public health discipline would be relevant.
