Dear Dr Hamilton, There exists an English translation of *The Collection in Seventy-Four Titles: A Canon Law Manual of the Gregorian Reform*, translated and annotated by John Gilchrist. The publisher is the Pontifical Institute of Mediaeval Studies, Toronto, 1980. I do know that there is a project in progress to translate all of Gratian into English, but that is all I know. I also would be interested to hear if there are other significant English translations in print of medieval ecclesiastical law.
