This event examines the relationships between art, architecture, history and the technologies employed in each of these disciplines. 

Strands are planned around broad discipline areas, including: architecture, urban design, history, archaeology, heritage, conservation, art and design, digital studies, film, photography, cultural studies, sociology, humanities.

Present in-person, pre-recorded films, skype, written papers.

Highlight Notice 1:
This event is part of the Mediated Cities Research Program with events at universities in London, Los Angeles, Bristol and Istanbul. The next conference in this program is held in summer 2021 at the University of Hertfordshire. Highlight Notice 2:
This event is also part of the book series ‘Mediated Cities’ run by Intellect Books. So far, four books have been published in the series. Book five will come from the Canterbury conference event.

In addition to a book as part of the Intellect “Mediated Cities” series, delegates submitting papers related to teaching and learning will be considered for Routledge book series: “Focus on Design Pedagogy”.
