Islington Museum Exhibition and Collections Officer - Maternity Cover (£31,434 - £32,577 p.a, pro rata)

Islington Museum is looking to recruit an experienced and committed Exhibition and Collections Officer (maternity cover) for up to twelve months. This is a part-time post (28 hours per week), with some evening work and one Saturday per month.

You will be required to manage and develop the collections and produce the exhibition programme for visitors of all ages, working on exhibitions, events, outreach initiatives and community consultation. You will work closely with colleagues within the service, the wider Islington Council and with external partners within the community.

You will need to possess a qualification in a relevant subject and have comprehensive experience of working in a museum or heritage environment, or have gained extensive experience working in a comparable field.
