Subject: [ZOOARCH] Assyrian zooarchaeolofy

Dear Zooarchers,

I have an archaeologist sitting next to me telling me that there exist no archaeozoological studies published from the Assyrian world (N. Irak; 750-700 BCE).

Could that be true? Not being a specialist, I wouldn’t risk disclaiming that but this seems a bit baffling, right?

Thanks for any input!

Arturo
