For the FSL installation, did you use any command line flags (e.g -V ) to select a specific version?

If not, then the installer likely installed the most recent version of FSL (v6.0.1).

Additionally, I think I see the problem.

For some reason, I am unsure as to why some of FSL’s binaries do not work on the WSL Ubuntu 18.

On my PC, I know that FSL v5.0.11 runs with no problems on WSL Ubuntu 16. I am unsure about FSL v6.0.0 and greater on WSL Ubuntu 16.

However, I think installing WSL Ubuntu 16, and then installing FSL might be your best option.

All the best,

Dear Adebayo,

Please see the screenshot below:

And I downloaded the FSL from the designated website using fslinstaller.py python file. Is there anyway to check that from terminal/shell?

Hi Rana,

What version of FSL are you using?

Additionally, what version of the WSL (windows subsystem linux) are you using (type `lsb_release -a` into the command line)?

All the best,

Subject: [FSL] regarding FSL in windows

Dear Concern,

I have installed FSL in windows 10 using windows subsystem for Linux according to the instructions. But when I am trying to view/work with some files in both nii.gz and nii. Nifty files it shows the following error messages in the ubuntu shell.

Please let me know how to proceed/troubleshoot and solve the problem.

Thanks in advance
