Dear ISEA International,

I am the Public Programs Officer at The Queensland University of Technology venue The Cube. We facilitate an annual Artist in Residence program. The 2019 program is open to creative practitioners residing in the Asia Pacific region.

This residency may be of interest to your international members and ISEA2019 Korea conference delegates. Below are details on the program, please feel free to get in touch should you like further information to share amongst your networks.

Expressions of Interest: The Cube 2019 Artist-in-residence

The Queensland University of Technology holds an annual Artist-in-residence program at The Cube. The Cube is located at the Science and Engineering Precinct in Brisbane city and is a hub for scientific and digital exploration.

The Cube Artist-in-residence (AIR) program aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogue between creative practice, technology, and science. By inviting new conversations, the AIR program acts as a catalyst for innovative ideas. Technical delivery of the work is assisted by The Cube Studio designers and software engineers.

Expressions of Interest are now open for the 2019 residency and close on Friday 5 July (just after the ISEA2019 Korea conference wraps up).

The Cube Artist-in-residence program provides an opportunity for a creative practitioner to design, develop and deliver a project for temporary display at The Cube, one of the world’s largest interactive learning and display spaces.
