Dear Colleagues,

The Mainz Materials Simulation Days 2019 will be held at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research in Mainz on June 5-7, 2019.

The topic of the 2019 meeting is Exploring Complex Free Energy Landscapes: Structure/Function Formation, Multiscales, and Long-timescales, with special focus on the development and applications of free energy methods and enhanced sampling methods. See a list of invited speakers below.

Due to ongoing issues with the CECAM website we have decided to extent the registration deadline until May 10. Furthermore, registration and abstract submission should now be done directly with the organizers via email. See further information at the following website:

http://www.mpip-mainz.mpg.de/5489292/MMSD2019

We have few slots available for contributed talks. There will also be a poster session, with a poster prize sponsored by Advanced Theory and Simulations (Wiley-VCH).

Invited speakers:
- Giovanni Bussi - SISSA Trieste
- John Chodera - Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center
- Christoph Dellago - University of Vienna
- Lucie Delemotte - KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm
- Gerhard Hummer - Max Planck Institute of Biophysics
