SCOPE OF THE JOURNAL

 

The journal is a refereed, international, interdisciplinary journal, dedicated to research on the life and works of F M Dostoevsky and on the resonance of the Russian writer in the world literary canons from the 19^th century to the present. Contributions are particularly welcome on topics, which situate Dostoevsky’s poetics in a historical or philosophical context, illuminating its connection with European phenomenology and psychoanalytic theory from a poststructuralist perspective.

 

Call for Articles for the 2020 Issue

 

The Chief Editor and the Editorial Board are calling for submissions of articles for the 2020 issue.

Articles should be between 5,000 and 7,000 words excluding footnotes. They may be bigger if they contain archival research as well as readings of texts. The citations (in footnotes at the bottom of the page and in the list of works cited at the end of the article) should follow the Brill Instructions to Authors (Chicago Manual of Style Edition 15) and the Library of Congress transliteration system (for Russian and other Slavic languages). Articles should be in English. However, if they have been translated from another language, the Editor would like to receive a copy of the original version in order to edit the translation successfully. Articles should have a title, the names and surname, email and institutional affiliation of the author(s).

 

All submissions are peer reviewed. It takes approximately two months to send a referee’s report back to the author(s). The production process takes four months.
