Some resources with a wide range of information regarding specific
detectors (even going back to 2005-2010) might be helpful, e.g. the
beamline information page for autoPROC processing at [1] or the
"generate_XDS.INP" tool described at [2].

If you have binary data (like MAR CCD) I find the command "strings
your.file" quite useful to show you some file and/or directory names
that can give indications.
