Hello Social Media Researchers!

Happy New Year!

This is just a quick reminder that the deadline to submit your work to the
International Conference on Social Media & Society (Toronto, Canada, July
19-21, 2019) is fast approaching. Both Work-in-Progress extended abstracts
(~1000-1200 words) and full papers (6-10 pages) are due January 28, 2019.

We welcome research from a wide range of methodological perspectives
employing established quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods as well
as innovative approaches that cross interdisciplinary boundaries and expands
our understanding of the current and future trends in social media research.

Full papers presented at the Conference will be published in the conference
proceedings by ACM International Conference Proceeding Series (ICPS)
reflayout=flat#prox> and will be available in the ACM Digital Library. All
conference presenters (full, WIP and poster authors) will also be invited to
submit their extended work to a special issue of the Social Media + Society
<http://sms.sagepub.com/> journal published by SAGE.
