Hi everyone

I've just finished writing a book about engagement skills for informal educators who give interactive presentations to schools and families.

The book is a toolkit of techniques which are informed by how other performers engage their voluntary audiences (eg magicians, stand-ups, street performers, actors and improvisers). I have already had some really useful feedback from science communicators I know. Now I'm hoping to get wider input from other educators.

So, if you work in a visitor attraction or outreach organisation as a career and you think you'll have time to read the draft over a three-week period from the end of January, you can find out more at:
www.learn-differently.com/beta

Please feel free to circulate this to any of your colleagues, if you think they might be interested.

Thanks for your help in advance

Paul
