[cpd25-one] Public Engagement in Libraries, Special Collections and Archives 30th January 2019 13:30pm - 16:30 pm Libraries, Special Collections and Archives all work in a variety of ways to engage with their users and the wider public with their collections and archives. At this event we will look at how Libraries, Special Collections and Archives have engaged with their users through special projects or helping to make the archives more accessible to a wider audience. Speakers will give a brief background about how they received the archive or got the project off the ground. They will also discuss the challenges involved in this work and if there is a difference between working with students and general public in how events are marketed. Speakers will also explain whether public engagement is through events, talks or exhibitions.
