About GISRUK GISRUK is an international conference series which has grown out of the UK’s national GIS research conference, established in 1993.

The deadline for the submission of abstracts to GISRUK19 is Friday 18^th January. We welcome abstracts on any area of geospatial data, analytics and modelling, GIS applications and the use of GIS and geospatial approaches for decision support. Details on how to submit an abstract and templates can be found at:

GISRUK 2019 Newcastle 23rd-26th April 2019 – announcement of first workshop & call for papers

It is with pleasure that we are able to announce the first workshop of GISRUK 2019. The workshop will be run by the Newcastle National Urban Observatory (http://www.urbanobservatory.ac.uk/) on Accessing open data and using API's.

The call for papers is also now open. We are inviting papers that cover the full spectrum of the geospatial data flowline, from data collection and management, through analytics and modelling, to visualisation and decision-support. Deadline for submissions is 18th January 2019. Full details on paper submission can be found at http://www.newcastle.gisruk.org/page/papers/.
