We had the Beta version in Test over the summer but were only able to do minimal testing. We are installing the newer 4.28 version this weekend and will then spend some more time testing before using Live.I would also be very interested in any Colleges which are using the Client version in earnest - and their experiences to date.We found that:a) as the database has not changed it will be possible to use the Web version and Client version together, in parallel, until we are confident with the Clent versionb) as it has been, basically, a straight 'porting' of the web version code to work the same in the Client version, none of our 'essential' enhancement requirements had been addressed(ie. still cannot change the exam entry_enrolment links after transfers etc.;the Grade fields are still only 10 chars so too small to import results directly as the Welsh Assembly require, eg. "DISTDISTDIST";the treatment of Candidate numbers for large multiple centres is still unsatisfactory;better facilities to record Access Arrangements; etc)It is disappointing that after waiting years for a better designed Exams Module that we were eagerly anticipating and, for a while, contributing to before the A2C project self-destructed- in the new Client version we have no real design improvementsc) the production of Amendment files has been changed and "improved", but we found there was a confusion created in how the 'First' file reference was displayed and we still have some queries about this new 'enhanced' functiond) on a more positive note............... the usability of the grids is much better and the ability to use better filter options is in general far superior to the web version. Please post any major problems you find on this forum so we all have a heads up on any potential pitfalls. We'll do the same.ThanksCarolCarol Marshall BA(Hons), PGCE, TESOLSwyddog Systemau Data / Data Systems Officer, ExaminationsGofestrfa / The Central RegistryGrŵp Llandrillo Menai01492 546666 x1564Hi Cath,

Subject: EBS Exam Manager
Hi
Is there anyone out there who has just moved from EBS4 to EBSclient for exams, I am just looking at it in test and cannot remember how to do anything that I was shown in the video training I undertook some months ago. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
