The DPC is participating in an event called ‘The Perception of Time in the Digital Age,’ hosted by Leeds-based Charity Chew the Fat, in Leeds on Thursday 21st February from 18.30 – 23.00.
Chew The Fat is a series of public facing, informal, panel led discussions exploring big topics in bitesize chunks. It promises to be
an evening of good food, drink and thinking outside the box.
This event is the first in a six-part series.
‘The Perception of Time in the Digital Age’
Along with a panel of three very exciting specialists, the event will explore the multifaceted nature of time in an ever increasing digital landscape. We will ask the question of time itself in an era in which it has never been more relevant.
Abigail Connor: Philosophy PhD, Manchester University
Sara Thomson: Research Officer, Digital Preservation Coalition
David Wilkinson: Film Producer/Founder, Guerilla Films
