Deputy Head of Public Health Data Science, Public Health England Flexible Location (Nottingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Sheffield, Birmingham, York) As Deputy Head of Public Health Data Science you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for delivering an effective data science service supporting public health delivery. You will support the Head of Public Health Data Science in developing and applying modern data science tools and techniques to public health problems. You will develop innovative solutions incorporating automation and precision public health analysis. You will provide leadership and direction across a programme of multidisciplinary data science projects, managing resources to ensure delivery. You will oversee PHE's data product tools and automation production processes and pipelines. You will seek opportunities to develop applications of data science tools and techniques including machine learning/artificial intelligence pipelines, application of natural language processing, development of interactive data products and reproducible analytical pipelines.
